About:This charming Upper East Side Italian restaurant has an Old World European atmosphere, with friendly service and consistently delicious food. Antipasti include Caponata Tradizionale with marinated eggplant, zucchini, celery and olives, and fried calamari. The pasta menu features Gnocchi Verdi Aurora -homemade spinach and potato dumplings with tomato, cream and asparagus. A featured entree is Scaloppine di Bosco -veal sauteed with white wine, garlic and mixed wild mushrooms. The decor includes stucco walls, flowers, wine bottles, and colorful hand colored plates. Lighted bay windows with plants and flowers provide an outdoor feeling.

    sleeper: a friend of mine had been telling me about due for sometime. Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly staff made this an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend 'Due'.
