   I went to Metamorphosis for the first time during Spa Week and got a facial. I found everyone to be very professional and very sweet, especially the receptionist whom I had to speak with to cancel a massage because I was hit by a cab. I fractured my wrist and bruised my shoulder two days before my appointment! When I called to cancel, after rearranging the appointment twice, the receptionist was very understanding and friendly. I was expecting shoddy treatment for Spa Week, as I'm getting a facial for a mere $50, but I was pleasantly mistaken!
   
   When I arrived for my appointment, I was not rushed at all and my aesthetician, Tanya, had the most amazing feather light touch! I was immediately put at ease after rushing there straight from work. Tanya let me know what she was doing to my face during the facial, and was very attentive the whole time. She recommended a daily regime for my dry skin, and let me know what products from Emerge Labs was best for me while not pushing the product on me. After the facial, my skin felt revived and I had no unsightly red blotches.
   
   I've never used Emerge skincare before, but what she put on my face felt divine! I purchased the Vita C Plus lotion and Hydrating Serum and I absolutely love it!! I would definitely visit this place again! It was very peaceful and that's incredibly important to me as I work in the heart of midtown, where the noise is abominable. This was a great escape and I already recommended the place to all my girlfriends whom all work in the same area. I will be visiting again, Spa Week or not!!!

   I have gotten only 3 other facials prior to my facial at Metamorphosis (at high end spas in ny), but the Metamorphosis one was by FAR the best. My facialist was the sweetest person ever and really took time to explain my skin to me. I wasn't sure which facial to get, so I asked her opinion, and she was very careful to recommend some facials and also let me know about prices. I loved how she didn't push products on me but still answered all my products-related questions. The best part of the facial was the result--I had glowing skin and no horrible red marks. I also have gotten a deep tissue massage at Metamorphosis and it was AMAZING. I always need really strong (almost painful) pressure, but the 50-min deep-tissue massage surpassed all of my previous massages.

   I had a wax w/ Rina today and she was wonderful and very professional. Definitely going back! Highly recommended by me! Go see her and you won't be dissappointed.
