This is a great place with excellent service. the food is to die for; great flavor/ presentation and prepared in a timely manner. The extention of the Restaurant Week Menu prices were a plus, for this first timer, because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a meal that I wouldn't enjoy. I will be returning there very soon and very frequently.
The food is very good, the location is amazing. Unfortunately I was robbed in this restaurant. My wallet was taken from my pocketbook while I was having dinner on a summer Friday night. My friend had to pick the tab and pay for it. The manager called the police, some people who work on the resturant found some of my documents tossed on 63th street.
I don't feel like going back to this restaurant. I wish you could have a meal there and feel safe.
Great food, little pricey, good service: We were seated right away, but were very close to the neighboring table. We almost felt like they were involved in our conversation. Rather than traditional bread, we received Italian crackers and breadsticks which were okay. I ordered the lasagna and my fiancee' ordered salmon. I loved mine, and thought it was very tasty, but my fiancee' was a bit disappointed with the portion size (small) in comparison with other Italian restaurants we've been too. Overall, I wouldn't run back but I would get the lasagna if and when we do return.
