User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGood, affordable French brunch in UWS: One of "Tour de France" group of restaurants, this one specializes in Parisian cuisine. Not sure about the authenticity of the cuisine, but the brunch menu was good, especially chilled Avocado soup! Service was little lacking, but acceptable.

French Roast Review: French Roast is a great neighborhood restaurant. It's always filled, and that's for good reason -- the food is great. The warm goat cheese salad is delicious, as are the burgers, and the brownie sundae is to die for. The atmosphere is perfect for a pre-movie meal-- actually it's perfect for any meal. I love this place, it's a bit pricey, but well worth it.
