| About: | The seafood specialties served at Sugar Bar, some of Ethiopian origin, are spicy and fragrant. There are also a number of Mediterranean style dishes on the menu. Spiced shrimp with tabbouleh and tomato chutney, and calamari tempura with garlic and red pepper sauce are popular appetizers. Entrees include barbecued salmon with a soy-honey glaze and slow roasted duck breast with baby bok choy and sweet potato fries. The sweet mango creme brulee with chocolate hazelnut biscotti is a marvelous dessert. African artifacts adorn the dining room, and the service is friendly. |

Accompanied friend, was highly disappointed in the beginning. I was expecting a larger place. No stairs to climb that was good because of an injured knee. The food was great. service was friendly and welcoming. price was ok. I have gone twice and would go again if nothing but for music. One night was Rob Silverman and the other night was Mo JAzz Band. I think the spelling is correct. This band was the best I have heard in a long time. They call it gospel jazz- I called it HOT!
Feelin The Flavors: I was really feelin the flavors of every dish I sampled. I I must admit that I sampled some of everyone dish..lmao
Ahh: It was ok, but I know why they call it the sugar bar... I wouldnt go there again.
