User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsPretty good....by New York standards: Coming from L.A. and having the best burger in the world in New Orleans (won't say where, it's crowded enough by locals) I can safely say that New York is not a burger city. When In-and-Out (a "fast food" joint on the West coast) is way better than Jackson Hole that in itself should tell you something.
That aside, this place has an amazing selection of burgers and at a great value as well. It is true that the burgers here are huge (which is a plus!) but I honestly prefer quality over quantity. A good burger should not not need any condiments which I can't say holds true for these burgers. Without BBQ sauce these burgers are just ok and not overwhelmingly flavorful.
Overall, this place is "average" by hamburger standards but "very good" by New York standards. I love this town but you should stick with pizza, pastrami, and Chinese. Burgers are not your forte.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Best Burger. (Period): I have yet to eat another hamburger anywhere in New York City or outside the city / state (CA, FL, KS, ME, NC, NJ) that have been better than the Hamburgers you will find at a Jackson Hole.
