About:When you taste the unusual home-cooked style dishes at this inexpensive and cozy spot, you will swear you have been transported to Portugal. Perfect for a first date or a family get-together, this neighborhood restaurant features a very friendly staff. There are plenty of beef, poultry and seafood entrees, as well as a wine list that includes Portuguese choices. The space is small and they only take reservations for large parties, so there could be a wait.

    This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and at the end of every meal you get a shot of their delicious house Port (in the winter they serve it warm). On Wednesdays they have a flamenco guitar duo and a flamenco dancer. You can eat at the cozy restaurant or just hang out at the bar and have tapas. Awesome sangria and Catalana Creme.
