| About: | A casual, neighborhood sushi place, Yuka offers a popular "all you can eat" special. Origami birds hang from the ceiling, embellishing an otherwise generic space. The friendly service is sometimes efficient, and at other times it is a little slow. The restaurant offers the usual assortment of New York City sushi, including such items as Alaska Maki (fresh salmon with avocado, smelt roe and cucumber) and California roll (with crab meat and avocado). |

READ AND RUN...TO YUKA: Little, crowded, dark but worth every bite. All-you-can-eat must be the best buy in any town. A Chinese friend said, if it's all you can eat sushi must be tiny. Not! Big delicious traysful keep coming and coming.
So-So Sushi and Sashimi: Everyone raves about the $18 all-you-can-eat sushi special, but I don't see what all the hype is about, especially when there are other superior options right around the corner. My sashimi was only so-so, but quantity substitutes for quality in this case. Worse still, Yuka is quite small, so you are quite cramped; the management would be well served to remove a few tables, although this will exacerbate the already lengthy waits around dinner. If you're looking to gorge yourself, Yuka is a nice selection, but you can get better sushi and sashimi at many other places.
Fresh sushi. Can't beat the price!: Food is very good and refresh. Overall service is quite good. The value is un-beatable for the quality of food!
