I'm no BBQ expert, but the pulled pork sandwich was great. I liked it better than the ribs & chicken I had.

Have eaten here on several occasions. Although New York is probably the last thing that comes to mind when you think of BBQ, Virgil's is definitely worth checking out! The meat has a unique smoky flavor and just falls right off the bone. Their two sauces, regular and spicy, are delicious as well! As for the location, right at Times Square, the prices are actually pretty inexpensive considering.

The Pig-Out meal consists of several kinds of meat. My favorite order is pork spare ribs and beef brisket! Man, that will fill you right on up! The best sides are baked beans, green beans (has bacon in it!), and their mashed potatoes with gravy aren't bad either.

There are occasional celebrity sightings in there, too. If you ever find yourself in Manhattan and get a hinkering for BBQ, be sure to check out Virgil's BBQ!

Great BBQ place if you don't mind getting dirty. The meat is tender and sweet. Friendly service and great atmosphere
