The house was built in 1916 for Edith Shepard Fabbri, and was designed to incorporate a collection of historic architectural pieces and antique furniture. Beautiful examples of Italian renaissance and Baroque architecture blend together, creating a venue that is quite unique. The showpiece of the house is its library. Composed of panels originally created for the Palazzo Ducale of Urbino, the library now serves as a venue for concerts and as a tranquil space for reflection. The House of the Redeemer, as it is now called, hosts prayer and worship services twice a day, on weekdays for most the year, in the chapel, while the house itself is a great choice for individual and group retreats.
