About:The 1923 Yankee Stadium is a historic landmark in the world of Major League Baseball. Some of the sport's greatest players have spent their careers there, including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, and Joe DiMaggio. Though they'll never be able to replace this monument, the franchise debuted their new stadium in 2009, directly across the street from their old park. The 'new' Yankee Stadium has many new features, such as expanded walkways, more concessionaires, and a renovated Monument Park. Lifetime fans will notice familiar touches, though, the biggest among them being the outfield frieze back in its original location around the upper deck. Suite and party facilities are available for those looking for something slightly more private. Check website for pricing, schedules and other info.

Best Ball Park: Yankee Stadium one of the best baseball park in American. Great place to watch a game. So much history is in this Stadium, you can feel the ghosts of Yankee greats from the past. I love every inch of this grand old ball park. It will be a sad in 2008 when this great ball park closes. Can't wait to go back to see as many games as I can between now and then.

Yankee Stadium: Hot Dogs, a Beer, and a Sunny day makes this the best place to watch a game. Anyway, it's where the best team works it's magic.

Yankee Stadium strictly baseball only: To the baseball purist, Yankee Stadium is what baseball is all about. I attended a Red Sox-Yankees game and the experience was truely unique. The fans ARE fanatics and police presence is huge. One slip up and the NYPD has no reservations about literally throwing you out of the park. Being surrounded by the fans and the history is truely awe-inspiring, but don't expect to be entertained after the novelty of the place sets in.

I sat in the bleachers which is where the low-life baseball fan sits. I paid $20 for two seats from a scalper, go figure. You can buy hot dogs there with mustard and ketchup, nothing else. It feels like a prison when you walk through the gates. You sit on a bench with other prisoners and you're in for a three hour ride. The fans are loud, abnoxious, and funny. It's an experience everyone should enjoy once in their life, but not worth returning to which is why I give it three stars.
