I love Cold Spring Pizza. I've had pizza all up and down the East Coast, and never found any better than what they serve. In addition to the pizza, they make great, authentic Italian dinners. I really enjoy the Chicken Marsala!

Though the shop had a run down look for quite some time, over the course of the last couple of years they've been updating, and it is starting to really show. In addition to the updates inside, they have a wonderful outdoor seating area behind the shop, which has also seen some recent improvements.

The staff has always been friendly, and offered up plenty of conversation to go along with the food. The only downside is that after enjoying Cold Spring Pizza for so many years, I find myself comparing every other pizza I try to theirs, and never being truly happy eating pizza anywhere else.

It's a throwback. I lived in Cold Spring nearly
30 years ago. Cold Spring Pizza was the central
theme of our day then and it was once again when
I revisited recently. The menu is superb. Meatballs are a dying artform across America. You
can still get them just the way Grandma made them
here at this fantastic establishment. A reviewer once said the service was obnoxious. That person can take off their silver underwear and retire to their palatial environment - at their discretion. They simply cannot know or understand.

This place has a meaning to us which embodies a byegone era. Yet the food is just the same, as is the ownership - a testament! My childhood buddy Charlie mans the helm. A veritable institution, a legend. People have other places to go. But everyday at lunchtime the locals drum in - on a first name basis - to down the incredible chow.

Don't miss a visit to Cold Spring Pizza if in the area. In fact, make it a point to visit Cold Spring just to eat and visit at this wonderful place. The food as good as it is cannot match the service, which is impeccable in all it's scope.

If there is only one negative to share within the context of this review, it is this...

I regret, that I have but one stomach to give to
my Cold Spring Pizza.

If you lived in Cold Spring or stayed long enough to see the interaction between the patrons and owner you would notice that the workers and owners know everyone that comes in and they make sure that you well welcome. We are all friends and have been for many years. Its the best pizza we have ever had, even up and down the east coast.
