CAH treats cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, Guinea pigs, hamsters and mice. All procedures, including x-rays, ultrasounds and dental work, are done on the premises. Surgeries are performed with state-of-the-art monitoring and anesthesia; visiting specialists are available to perform complicated procedures and see patients with cardiac problems. Most laboratory specimens are sent out, providing next-day results, but critical care patients have lab work done in-house.
