    BEST japanese resturant! I think sushi at hajime is so much better than some fancy place in the city. Very simple, very traditional Japanese food. You not gonna get some crunchy fusion type of sushi here but everything is amazing! I am Japanese and my American boyfriend love there!

    This is the best japanese resturant and sushi bar in the area.
    (Incidently, it is only about a block away from another one called Momiji)

    The best you can have in Westchester: We really love their service, and their sushi is the best. My wife and I both work in the city and LOVE asian food. In terms of taste, there might be few in the city that's better than Hajime, but for the overall quality (food freshness, service & price) Hajime beats all of them hands down.

    Don't miss their Saturday lunch special (I love their chirashi)

    Also, they DON'T have a "garbage can in the back", (How could a decent restaurant could?) not to mention sit people beside it. Don't really know what the below "local user" was talking about.
