There are some people from the staff there that are very nice, and they take my order and go out of their way to make it good. But if the new guy takes your order, forget it, your sandwich is goign to look as if it were made by your pet. Again, it is not a good place or a bad place, it depends on who takes your order.

A dump: This is the worst bagel shop in Westchester County. The place is filthy, the staff is surly, and consistently gets my orders wrong. Then they make me feel bad when I tell them its wrong. Their bagel sandwiches are carelessly slapped together by guys who obviously want to be anywhere other than there. They don't even clean their knives off after the last order. If I wanted peanut butter in my cream cheese I would have ordered it that way! I wish there was a good bagel shop anywhere near Tarrytown.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place rocks my world!: Close to home they make a great bagel, have a wonderful view of the river and have enough space to sit that meeting there for a cheap brunch with friends is very doable. The bagels are so good my father usually freezes a few to always have them on hand at home.

I now how you feel, I understand,the place was not good back then, but I have to tell you that it changed, now there are three people during the day that are very nice, they talk to me nicely, we have nice conversations, they never give me the wrong order. It is true that the place is not clean. But I know that there is only one guy that is not nice, more than a year ago he got my order wrong and when I went to tell him he was very disrespectful with me, my husband got mad and try to defend me, it got so ugly between them that I thought that they were going to figth. That is why we stoped going there, but recently I started going again, and there are these three persons in the front that are very nice. What you said it was true, but I think that now the place got better, I do not think that you will have the same experience if you go again. Try it, maybe you will like it.
I was happy because I thought that this place got better after a bad experience that I had like a year ago. However, three days ago I saw a new guy, he took my order, he was not able to put a little mayonaise on a bagel, with tomato and lettuce, I have to cancel the order, the other guys are fine, but this new guy never made a sandwich in his life before and he had no clue how to di it. I am disappointed again.
