The recent comment I recently read about the laundry room is right on. It is by far one of the nicest laundrys I have had the pleasure of using. It is very clean and well maintained, there is a lot of space for parking and the service there is impecable.

One of the employees there who's name is Ellen is a gods sent. She has helped me countless times with no complaints and she really makes the days I do laundry very plesant due to her kindness and her beautiful personality.

The Villanova,the owners of the Laundry Room, are very nice people and run a very impressive business. I would recommend the Laundry Room to anyone who needed that type of service.

This is IMO the cleanest laundromat in the Northern Westchester / Southern Putnam area.

There is a good assortment of machines in many different sizes. The washers and dryers are all obviously meticulously maintained. These machines use balance cards (available on site), and not quarters.

There are always attendants on site, and they have been pretty helpful in the past, like when I've had questions about what wash settings to use for certain fabrics, or which size washer I should use, etc.

There are other services available like tailoring and having staff do your laundry for you, but although you can drop your stuff off early, these services usually become available from midday onwards, and it's not guaranteed that they will complete your wash the same day.

The floors are normally really clean and waxed, so it won't be a disaster if a just-laundered sock accidentally winds up on the floor. The bathrooms are spotless as well (you have to request a key from the attendent). There are also plenty of tables, chairs, and laundry carts, all of which are kept--yep, you guessed it--clean, too. It's just a very pleasant, homey place.

There is plenty of (free) on-site parking. There are other amenities on site, including soda and snack vending machines, coffee machine, video games, and a small store of detergents in case you forgot your supplies at home.

Finally, and not unimportantly, the clientele tends to be pleasant, well-kept, and not intrusive. No solicitation has occured during the times I've done my wash there.
