User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI visited the museum for the first time in many years and found it to be the same as it was in the 80's when I had visted it before. After all, a museum is just that. Timeless. Time stands still. The history of Peekskill is one very similar to many others, indians, trading, but the founders name was Peek, where kill means river (Hudson River in this point), so the name of Peekskill, originated from 2 words, Peek (the founder) and kill, the river. So, Peekskill. That is what i got out of it anyway. Also the Hudson River, West Point, Paulding, Andre, alot of history here. Alot.

I only wish the museum was open more often so I could visit more.
