    The nurses, doctors and staff were great! Both in the ER, operation rooms and ICU. The person who wrote the bad review did so in 2006 so maybe things were different then but I found everything to be clean and the doctors and staff caring and very good at their job.

    if you want to live, dont go here: i have never experienced nor heard of good ER care here - lots of the doctor's are inattentive and the hospital smells. Be prepared to WAIT forever! Gosh - their radiology area is grimey and so are the radiologists. If you need immdiate care, go to Lawrence or White Plains. Sound Shore is the worst.
    Whoever gave five stars is blind, deaf - just completley desensitized!

    Sound Shore Medical Center: Although I have served them only for a month as an acute care Physical Therapist, I have truly enjoyed my experience. I have gained so much knowledge and everyone seems to be helping one another. It is a very nice place to work!

    I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IN THIS HOSPITAL THAT I WILL NEVER COME AGAIN.

    I guess those bad experiences were things of the past and don't hold true nowadays.
