I love Edo's!! Been to several hibachi restaurants around the country and nobody holds a knife to Edo's, except maybe Demones in California.
Even the hibachi restaurant in Disney was not as good.
They have great food, provide enough food, fun cooks, and they are always crowded but make easy reservations for their consistent customers. You can meet interesting people too!
Now I am in the mood for some lobster and filet mignon.
Edo and Fuji Mountain always get compared. Theonly standout of Edo is its specialty drinks. Everything else is typical of a teppanyaki restaurant (fun atmosphere, good for large groups, good table show, good & good amount of food). I've read the reviews and see alot of people write about the "friendliness" and good service. But I haven't seen that. Even with a reservation, I've never been seated here without waiting at least 20 minutes.
I prefer Fuji Mountain. I think their food (including Sushi, which Edo doesn't have) is better as is the service.
Edo Japanese Steakhouse: Some people feel that it is a bit pricey, but when you see what is included in the meal, I think it is well worth it. The wait can be long depending on what time you set your reservation for and how busy it gets, but all in all, the food and service has always been top notch.
