This place is not what it use to be. i have been going there since i was a kid and have now moved away but come back every year to visit. I was recently there and they had a kid working there as a server who had a chip on his shoulder and actually threw our food on the table and literally threw my husbands change at him. The manager had the nerve to try to justify this kids actions by saying that he was only 13 years old. I thought that the child labor laws was for 14 and up. We noticed his attitude when we sat down. The elderly couple sitting in the table next to us was waiting for their food and finally got up and left because they said that they came out of their house to enjoy a lovely evening a nd this kid had such an attitude. Even when he took our order he had an attitude and subsequently bought back the wrong items, He charged us too much, forgot our corn, bought the wrong clams to the table, threw the food on the table and to add insult to injury he had the audacity to try this tough guy act with us. We left the restraunt and will never ever go there again. What a tremdous shame as this place is an Icon in New Rochelle and manay of us grew up on it but now that these want a be thugs are working there who wants to be around that.

I've been going here since I was younger too because I grew up in New Rochelle. Now I live in NJ and I'm actually going back this weekend and while I'm there I'm going to be sure to hit greasy nicks. They have the best food!! I can't wait to have their burgers and corn on the cob! Way to go Lenos!

I have been going to "Greasy Nicks" since I was a baby. It is a well known place in my family. I have always loved sitting outside and eating my very deleicious cheese burger. My favorite is the corn. It is the best corn on the cob ever!!!!! I have many years of very special memories of "Greasy Nicks", and I hope that they will be open long enough for me to bring my children there. Many people drive past it and keep on going, they don't know what they are missing. I have told many people about it and when they go and try it they love it. ALWAYS REMEBER NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!!
