User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLow's, Schmowes...Don't be stupid.... We get everything We need at Werners True Value. Keeping it simple, your in & out and you have exactly what you needed. Also, with the True Value pionts card,They send us discount coupons with the amount of purchases made. Not only that but, My wife just got a $10 Birthday coupon in the mail. Does Low's or Home Depo. give anything? No! In fact, it's unheard of....For more advanced building materials, WE buy from Roe Bros. as well, right here in Florida, NY

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI looked all over Middletown for a large thermos and coudn't find what I was looking for. I went into Werners and not only found it, I had a selection to choose from. Compared prices with Walmart on pool chemicals (shock) Werners was only a few cents higher. When you figure in the cost of gas, it ends up being much cheaper.

They do carry a nice selection of merchandise and it's convenient not to buy bulk of certain items like the larger home stores. However, there seems to be an air about the owners that can only be described as quasi-elitists. I've been in there several times and I can forego the clothing section entirely. The contents of the True Value downstairs is truly that of a hometown store but all in all, I'd stick with the larger chains.
