Every time I get these bagels I am disappointed. Although the flavor is good, the outside of the bagel is so hard, my jaw hurts when I am done eating it. Every so often, I go back and try again, but so far the bagels have been much too hard to chew. Also, the bagels are usually too brown.

correct about price and bakers dozen, but only place in 50 miles to get real bagels, and the spreads, lox in particular are terrific Picking up the everything bagels, still warm on a Sunday morning is nirvana

The best bagels in Middletown, but.....
1) No discount for buying a dozen
2) At $.75 each, one of the most expensive bagels ANYWHERE
3) They don't give "baker's dozens"
4) Have signs up saying kosher, but you can get bacon on your bagel
with cheese! What kind of kosher is this? (and they're open on
Saturday!)

Unfortunately, they know they have the best bagel and that there is NO competition in the area, thus they can charge whatever they want!
