In a word, Emerald Point was amazing. For Valentine's Day, we stayed in Greenwood lake for 3 nights, and we ate here twice. The food was absolutely delicious, they have a great variety on the menu, the inside decor was very appealing and the service was really good as well. Definitely need to try this place at least once if you will be in the area.

Loved it: There's no better place to enjoy a meal outside with lake views and live music. The food was great and I even played volleyball and horse shoes. I loved it.

food was great but not worth the money.....: I waited way to long to get my food and it wasn't even that good. The portions are huge but the prices are not even worth it because the taste fell way short of our expectations. The waitstaff is very nice but not good. The bus boys and servers did more than the waitstaff, they were running around taking care of ppl and the waitstaff was sitting down inside when I saw them. I even went back 2 more times thinking maybe it was just an off day but it wasn't. It was the same each time. The view is beautiful but the prices are outrageous!

I certainly don't agree with the Local User of 09/01/06. Both my wife and I have been a frequent customer for about 8 years. As with any restaurant, some menu choices are better than others. Their menu consists mainly of American dishes with a touch of Italian in a few of their entrees. For instance, two of their Italian dishes, penne with chicken and eggplant with spinach are as good, if not better, than found in any Italian restaurant. The service is excellent and the staff consisting of Angie, Shari, Teddy, Mikie, to name a few, are among the best people that I have ever met. Wil, their innovative chef, is a great cook with terrific specials on a daily basis. And no, I do not own an interest in this restaurant.
