Food is usually good, but service was AWFUL during our last visit. We had reservations and waited almost 10 mins before someone helped us. The person went to find out where to seat us, and never returned. This happened two more times by two different people. By the time the next person came to help us I completely lost it, which was good because I think she was the manager and finally sat us. I almost walked out the service was so bad. Food was good, but forgettable. Will not go back for a LONG time.

I went to the Erie on new years. Way to take advantage of the date!!!!
The "special" menu was way over priced. They drinks were way too expensive and our server was horrible. My husband's and my food was $30 a plate and our steaks were not even close to being cooked the right temp. I wouldn't go their again with a gift certificate!!

The best in Middletown: They do it right. Great Italian Food, I've had the huge porterhouse steak, raw clams, everything you would want. The menu is huge and I have never had a bad meal. All of my family members and their families have been going to DeStefano's when it was on Beattie Avenue. They maintained that great neighborhood feeling and realy upscaled the facility. We have had parties and you won't find a better bargain or better party food anywhere. Highly reccommend.
