EXCELLENT food and service!: I love going to Dee Maria's because everyone is so friendly. A great family restaurant where the food is excellent! After moving to Rockland County from the Bronx, my husband was VERY picky about Italian food/restaurants. We were constantly going back to the Bronx to get what he called "real Italian food". A friend recommended Dee Maria's and ever since then, we no longer have to take that trip across the bridge! They have authentic Italian cuisine and great pizza. As far as the prices that some other reviewers mentioned, they have very big portion sizes, we always have to take food home. Therefore, it's reasonable and worth it. I recommend it to everyone! Oh, and you HAVE to try the homemade Italian cheesecake (it is out of this world; and I'm not exaggerating!) haha

Great Food in a Friendly, Family Restaurant: I find all waiters and waitresses to be friendly in Dee Marias and they always remember you and talk to you when you come. They have great food and resonable prices (although some find them to be a bit high). The only problem I really have with this place is that it is a little too small, and divided into two sections. One section is nice looking and feels more like being in a restaurant, while the other feels more like a pizza place in which you just buy your food and take any seat you want, and pay for the food before you eat. Although, both sections have waiters or waitresses and meals are paid for with a bill at the end. Some people may not be bothered by how it is set up, but I tend to notice these kinds of things. Other than that, I think this is a great restaurant, especially for families!
