User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDrinking and picnicking! My two favorite things!: Enormous Czech beer garden in northern Astoria. Excellent pitchers of beer (including Franziskaner & Hoegaarten), grilled kielbasas & amazingly tasty double cheeseburgers. There's authentic Czech food available on the menu inside. Alas, the Bohemian Hall has skyrocketed in popularity since NYC banned smoking in bars (you can smoke outdoors in the Beer Garden). Expect to wait in line to get in on Saturdays and Sundays after 6. Is it wrong to like the Beer Garden more when no one else is around? Pray for rain.
