    I LOVED Uncle George's... great chicken souvlaki, however - this past weekend was my last trip in there. EVER. We had a miserable older gentleman as our waiter. Seriously, he was downright RUDE. Came to our table once - when we first sat down to take our order and never returned. Other VERY nice young men filled our water, braught our bread, appetizer, etc. but this guy was unreal - we had finished our meal and waited NO JOKE, 40 minutes for our check. Our waiter walked right by us, all around us, etc. but would not give us our check. Finally, when he did acknowledge, he quickly wrote out the check and asked for the money - when we gave it to him, he asked for his TIP. WHAT?!?! You didn't wait on us! Why should we give you a tip? I wanted to tip the other guys - but they weren't anywhere to be found when we were leaving - but this guy started to get abnoxious. I used to work in restaurants so NEVER have I gone out without leaving a tip, but this guy seriously had NERVE. He got nasty and unfortunately we saw the other waiters around us giving great service. This guy will HURT business at Uncle Georges - they need to get him out of there.

    HIGH RECOMMENTED: EXCELLENT FOR EVERYDAY FRESH FOODS AND COOKING . EXTREME GREEK CUISINE ON HART OF ASTORIA ( 33-19 BROADWAY ,1-718-6260593)

    GOOD FOOD: I love coming here and ordering the lamb and lemon potatoes. Usually eat here at night and when it's not too full. I've been going there since I was 13 and the foods taste has not changed one bit. The waiters are such eye candy, and very friendly, tip well ladies.
