Worst service I've ever received! I thought it was just me at first, but then my sister noticed it and finally towards the end her husband did as well. Not only were they racist b/c of our Latino descent, the pizza wasn't even worth the wait NOR the awful service. Needless to say I will NEVER go back to that establishment again and will NEVER take any of my out of town guests there again. If you're looking for AMAZING pizza, try Lombardi's on Spring Street. Now that's PIZZA and service!
Definitely NOT the best pizza in the universe. It was good, but not even the best in NY. The crust had soggy parts and the tomato chunks, or whatever type of sauce they use, had very little flavor. Luckily there was no wait when we went, but if we had to wait I would of been very disappointed.
The cram as many people in there as possible and not cheap either. 2 pizzas with a 6,7 beers ended up being $75. Probably won't go out of my way to go there again.
VERY OVER-RATED. Every tour we were on made it a point to point Grimaldi's out and say how great it was and how there was always a huge line. So my wife and I figured we'd check it out. Nowhere near the "greatest pizza ever" everyone seems to slobber over. The pizza was merely ok. It wasn't bad it wasn't good it was just ok. I ordered sausage on my half (for $2 more per half) and got all of 5 pieces on my half.... literally. On an 18 inch pizza. Notice how no reviews have any "Man they heaped on the toppings! We really got our moneys worth!" comments? The crust being so thin it takes serious care not to have it come out burnt or undercooked. Care in NY. That's like an oxymoron. Most of our crust was charcoal black. Yummy. And then there's the service. So I do realize this is NY and the standard "just be glad we acknowledge you exist" rules apply to service. But the service here is particularly bad/ non-existent. And why don't they take credit cards? Yes they get charged a fee from the credit card company. So just raise the price of the pizza to compensate. They don't seem to have any problem overcharging for everything else. If you want to follow all the hype and check Grimaldi's out go ahead. Just know what you're in for and don't expect too much.

Wow. You sound like a very unhappy individual. You should ask God to come into your heart and change it. Maybe then you can find peace with yourself and the rest of the world. I'll pray for you.
