Pilo Arts is by far the best salon experience I have had in all of the metro area. I have lived in Manhattan for 13 years and have visited many top notch salons. Pilo blew me away. Their service was exceptional, the price, compared to what I pay in manhattan, was relatively inexpensive and I walked out feeling like a million dollars. I now commute to Brooklyn every time I need my hair done, a facial or massage. I have and would highly recommend Pilo Arts. GREAT JOB keep it up.

I have to agree the cutomer service is not good and certain employees are nasty.
If you are willing to shell out the bucks for a master stylist you will get a fabulous haircut, but first you will have to deal with the lousy customer service and high falutin attitude. I guess they equate high fallutin with high end. Me, not so much.
They also did a less than wonderful job on my highlights years ago, however I believe the woman who did my highlights (who everybody had raved about) is no longer there. She was doing two people at the same time and mixed up my color with that of the woman next to me. Lucky for all, the colors were not all that dissimilar but there was no apology offered and if I hadn't caught it myself I don't believe she would have confessed the error.
