About:Planet Thailand is a local Williamsburg favorite that has developed an outstanding reputation in the neighborhood. Once an unpretentious, minimalist spot, the establishment more than doubled its size by moving into an airy loft space. Works by local artists now adorn the walls. As always, dishes like Pad Thai and chicken curry are among the best and most authentic in the city. If Thai does not appeal, try the sumptuous sushi bar. Along with the restaurant's success, the clientele has developed something of an attitude.

    Let me start off by saying I like Planet Thailand. I have never had a bad meal there - nor have I had an amazing meal there either. The thing I don't like is going in there and ordering 5 different things and being told each time - we don't make that anynmore. Change your menu - it's ridiculous!

    Excited to go back: I never tried Thai food until I came to Planet Thailand and it was amazing! Everything was cheap and the service was great! Have a couple shot os patron and you'll be in heaven.
