About:The food is authentic and tasty at this colorful Jamaican restaurant in Cobble Hill. Green-trimmed white walls are adorned with bright artwork, and there is reggae music inside. There is also relaxing sidewalk seating. Flatbread Roti Rollups can be filled with everything from chickpeas to goat meat. There are also Codfish Cakes, Coconut Chicken and Curried Coconut Shrimp. Try the delicious Rum Cake, but do not expect the stronger stuff since they do not serve alcohol.

Great Food, OK Setting, Poor Service: If you like jerk food, this place is the best. I went with three others, we each got a different meal and everything was tasty, spicy but not overpowering. The restaurant is pretty small so you may have to wait a bit for a table if crowded and the tables are pretty tight. Service is lacking but kind of fits with the vibe. BYOB.

Great Location: I had a blast dinning at this wonderful, funky spot. From the outside it looks like a cafe where you can just come in grab something to drink and quickly leave. But upon entering the restaurant, I was awed to see the fine art work, the unique candles and exclusive Bob Marley collection down the dinning tables. The center pieces were not intrusive very small and did not over power the table presentation. It did take a while for the meal to come and they were out of what we had originally ordered but besides all of those mishaps I had an awesome time. Well that and the fact that I was in the presence of GREAT company. I would revisit BRAWTA. Their Pine-ade is delicious!

A good place to take a date for a carib breakfast: The Ackee & Saltfish was very good. My only problem is it is a lil too pricey, but the food is very good.
