User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBAM is really the only theater in Brooklyn that does not show Hollywood mind numbing junk! How refreshing!!!!!!!!! It's great to have such a beautiful theater that actually shows thought provoking, creative, intelligent entertainment. If you like original films in a nice attmosphere this is the place to go. If you prefer the popular types of entertainment and humor don't bother...leave tickets for the rest of us.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat: Ok i discover this place because of where my college is:) i was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy....you won't find alot of american movies here most of them are underground films and sometimes great movies from Africa.So if you visit brooklyn visit BAM
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTHIS IS A SECERT: NOT MANY BLK PEOPLE GO HERE BECAUSE THEY DONT SHOW THE TYPE OF MOVIES THAT ARE ADVERSTISED ON TV. MOST THE THE MOVIES THAT SHOWN ARE IFC MOVIES OR MOVIES THAT ARE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. HOWEVER I FIND THE MOVIES HERE VERY INTERESTING. ONE DAY I WILL MEET SOME PEEPS THAT ARE INTO THESE TYPE OF MOVIES LIKE ME LOL
