I must say that I was very surprised with the food at royal house.It was of poor taste and quality.Ihave been eating there since I was a teenage and was never so disappointed as with my last visit there.Many of you reading this will say I am crazy but as a true southern cook from south carolina. I must say that the true art of black southern cooking is gone.The ribs were not cooked ,the macroni and cheese was black and burned and old,the collard greens were from the can and doctored up,The chopped bar-b-que on bun was tasteless.Royal rib house should really be ashamed of serving this food and calling it southerrn. Where are all the true southern cooks who still cook from scratch and put their foot in it.Come on bed-stuy your losing your taste buds stay out of the chinese eateries and get back in the kitchen.Train your daughters what true southerrn food taste like. Also,I must add that I have a dog and he would not eat it.WAKE UP I know that this review is going to upset alot of people in that area, but it needs to . PS In the past I have gone there to find a long line, I should have known something was wrong when I just walked up to the window on a friday afternoon.I Must say I will never buy food from there again good-bye and good luck because you are going to need to keep customers like myself and friends who are true southern cooks and who grew up and raised their families in bed-stuy because we know the differance.
