| About: | Home of the Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest, Nathan's Famous has been serving mouth-watering hot dogs since 1916 at its landmark location in Coney Island. What started as a nickel hot dog stand has grown to a nationwide franchise, but hot dog aficionados swear that no other hot dog can compare to the original Nathan's! Maybe it's the sea air or the honky-tonk atmosphereno one knows for sure, but one bite into these crunchy all-beef dogs will win over the greatest skeptic. The fries (with or without gobs of cheese or chili) are to die for! Linda Steinmuller |

Hands down the best hot dog in the USA! Whether plain, with condiments or chili. Take advantage of the seafood side also (frog legs, shrimp, clams, fish). Prices have risen slightly, so bring a little extra cash if you're feeding a family. More than the NYC dirty water dog carts! LOL Very long, slow lines so be prepared to stand and wait for a while. Outdoor eating tables rarely cleaned so clean tables go quickly, move fast!
"Okay" hotdog. Does not live up to the hype. The Nathans name is bigger than the dog.
Not bad. But not the best either.
Also it was way to expensive i bought lunch for me and my dad i think all together we got 6 hot dogs 2 drinks and a large cheese freis and it came out to like 26 dollars. Id rather go to a dirty water vender. If you dont know what that is you must not be from NY.
