User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat!: My son has been telling me to go to The Islands forever. I did go , but not for myself a couple of years ago. About 2 weeks ago I went with my step-daughter. She ordered Shephard's Pie.....INCREDIBLE! It was made fresh on the spot. I had curried goat, great! I am so happy that I only live a few blocks from this gem of an eatery.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best Jamaican food around: There are a lot of fake Jamaican/Caribbean restaurants in NYC but this is not one of them. This restaurant serves up sumptuous dishes. Their Sunday specials are especially good. The owners Sean and Marilyn are extremely friendly and know how to treat customers. You will feel like you are at home chatting with friends. The spot is very small so if you are the snobby type this will not work for you. This place comes highly recommended!
