It used to be a great place, no more...: I used to love this place, a litle pricy, but deffenetly worth it. It used to be the best one in the area. No more... . Sad.
Past weekend we decided to come back.
-Lobster chowder dilluted like it was from the pack that occasionally being sold in Costco.
-It takes a real CHEF to ruin a $35 steak. i ordered "Black a blue" and they charcoiled it, literally, the outside was actually bitter,so badly it was burned. When I asked them if that is how its supposed to be, the took it away and just cut off the part that it was burned, absolutely crazy, did not see this coming. In any good restaurant when you order the most expensive dish and the chef ruins it they will offer to replace it at least.
-Chilian Sea bass had a strong fishy smell. Not fresh
Although bread was OK.
So, if you are looking for romantic dining experience, candelles and a piano music, spending a hundred $ per person experiment with your stomach and your meal ruined you know were to go.
As for me, my school is paid , never come back.
Excellent Food and Ambiance: My family and I go to Caffe on the Green every year for Christmas Eve - everything is so good that I even decided to hold my wedding there. The guests raved over the food, service, everything. I highly recommend this restaurant for an event or an evening out on the town.
Yummy: I have been to hundreds, if not thousands, of restaurants in my life. This is my second favorite one in the whole world.
