BBB is a ideally located right off the Long Island Expressway in Fresh Meadows, Queens. Every session is $25 and you must purchase in 12 visits packages.
A personal trainer with a clipboard follows you around a weight machine circuit for each half session giving advice, instructions and motivation.
You are randomly assigned a trainer. Some trainers are demanding and really ipush you to do as much weight as you can.
Ideally in order for such a half hour circuit training program to be sucessful you would have to go three times a week.
The big problem is scheduling. Mr. Berle is reluctant to schedule time slots more than a week in advance and does not make peak times available for newcomers.
The equipment is very old and antiquated and not does appear to be up to standards. Mr. Berle does not have any free weights. I can't imagine a valid program that does not include free weights. BBB would be good for a beginner, but I cannot see any reason why anyone above beginner level can be helped by BBB.
Mr. Berle is a nice chap, but he is a little over the top with a Richard Simmons type persona.
BBB can be helpful but I'm not sure if you can really archieve that desirable Body by Berle (whatever that means!) with the program.

I was interested in going there. I just looked into it. You would not reccomend?or certain trainers you would?
kellybea, Yes, I would recommend it, but don't expect too much. If you are a true beginner perhaps a 12 session package would be beneficial.
