User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI remember Gino's when I lived in Long Beach in 1963. Of course, the taste of their pizza changed. I would do anything to have that taste again, whether it be at Gino's or in Brooklyn. It is just not the same. However, this is one of the best pizzas around for what we see today. I tried it a year ago and was impressed. The veal parmesan hero was good too. I hope they never close! I actually travel an hour each way just to get this and take it home and freeze some. Please guys, don't ever close and don't change the recipe or sauce!

If you like pizza made by Puerto Ricans with dirty hands this is for you! Quality varies from really great to stuff that will put you in the hospital. Beware and hope you're here on a good day!

A SLICE OF NEW YORK!
This is the pizzeria of Gino's Italian Ices, and it lives up to its legend- a true icon of New York. I have gone here when I was a child, and I now take my children. It is a perfect place for familes, both for atmosphere and prices- and taste you can't beat!

Dear Joanne A, After reading all of you reviews, I feel that you are a old miserable person, who is also a cheap racist. You judge long living Long Beach establishments with racialist comments that attack people not the quality of food. In your many comments you seem like you are searching for good service. Maybe you don't receive it because you seem like the typical 10% tipper and obnoxious (just like your reviews). In the priorities of the server, you are most likely at the bottom, which you deserve. When you say "Not Bad for Long Beach, but horrible compared to what you can make at home," I think you should stay home, cause people like you make me sick! Have a wonderful day!
