If I could give this place four and a half stars I would.

This pub has a long history in the Village of Sea Cliff. A destination for televised Sunday and Monday Night Football games, and baseball in the summer. The food is quite good for "just a bar" as some of the more cranky locals might say, and the nightly specials are above what you would expect from a pub.

Try the steak. They make it with a mushroom and bleu cheese sauce that will knock your socks off. Their soups are standard but pleasing, the chili is hearty, tasty and not too hot.

Burgers - and any variety you order - are done to spec, with a very good bun-to-burger ratio.

The staff, both wait and bar, are engaging, funny and helpful professionals. If you visit more than once you're likely to be remembered on your return.

KC Gallagher's is more than a neighborhood bar. It's a very good meal with a quirky and character-filled ambiance wrapped around.

Go for an Irish Coffee, or the spinach salad. You probably won't be disappointed with anything. Really.

One of the Best Local Pubs!: The specials are excellent. The pub menu traditional and good. They do not take Credit Card. Small inside so you may have to wait for a table on the weekend. I have always had good experience with service and food. As for the decor and ambiance, just average nothing fancy.
