P.F. Changâs China Bistro
Located in âThe Sourceâ in Westbury, P.F. Changâs is a beautiful, upscale Chinese bistro that is sure to please adults and kids alike. We dined there on two occasions, once for dinner and once at lunchtime, and both experiences left us contented, satiated, and happy.
At dinner we opted for appetizers which included the spare ribs, harvest spring rolls, and Peking dumplings. We shared the chicken chopped salad and we also ordered the crispy honey chicken, Dan Dan noodles, stir fried eggplant, and Sichuan style asparagus. Everything was wonderful. The chicken lightly battered and fried with a pleasing sauce, the noodles cooked with scallions, ground chicken, and chili peppers, and the dumplings steamed and luscious.
At lunch, we were a group of four adults and one child. The traditional lunch bowls were pleasing and filling. The almond and cashew chicken stir fried with bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms in a garlic sauce was delicious. Our little one sampled everything and enjoyed it all. Although there is no separate kidâs menu, kids, who like Chinese food, will find plenty on the regular menu to suit them.
Prices are reasonable with entrees running from $11 to $13 and the lunch bowls coming in around $7.50 to $8.50.
This is an intimate, casual place that brings together superb Chinese food with relaxed western ambience - a truly serendipitous combination. The place is spotless, the wait staff knowledgeable, and it is fully handicapped accessible. Take your family, go, and enjoy!
