It's one of the nicest places on long island. Food is great and fresh. Top self liquors, nice martinis. From parties of 2 to 10 A+ service I've never been there when it is packed so my service was excellent. Don't recommend eating outdoors just too many bugs. Manhattan prices.
Could have been much better...: While it boasts a nice ocean view, both food and service were disappointingly mediocre. Slow service and old ingredients seem to be the norm, and I swear the words "Campbell's" came to mind when I tasted the NE clam chowder. Salads that come with complete dinners were about as good as those found in pre-packaged deli lunches, and the vegetables (broccoli, carrots, zucchini, cauliflower) and potatoes that come with the dinners were cooked beyond recognition. My seashore platter was an utter disappointment, as after a 50min wait, the scallops were half spoiled and smaller than any I've ever seen. Not worth my $35. If you do visit, stick with the steaks or lobster...at least they won't leave you sick the next day.
