and the portion was small. My husband burger was probably grilled by a 5 year old kid. Even for a waterfront restaurant it was overpriced base on what you ordered. Burger King does a better job with their food.-

Great views, great ambiance...food is lacking: This place has great drinks , great ambiance and good service but they are lacking consistency. You can order the same thing 5 times and you'll get different quality 5 different times. It's hit or miss. Although its hit or miss on the food, Its a great date place because of the romantic views, piano player, outdoors(seasonal) and if you get lucky and get a good meal..its all good!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest of the North Shore: This is one of my favorite summer lunch spots. They have a beautiful indoor restaurant but quite honestly I go for the very large outdoor deck. Many restaurants treat their outdoor area like an afterthought but not Pine Island. The chairs are clean and comfortable and the area is not overrun with bugs. Just a great way to relax and enjoy the breeze off the Sound with lunch and a bottle of wine. I have never asked for the dinner menu but the lunch menu is quite reasonably priced.
