Remember them well. In the mid 70's I worked around the corner and we always ate their on Fridays. Those were great times and great Pizza.

I grew up in Huntington & remember when Di Raimo's opened. They have the best sicilian pizza ever. It's a slice of heaven on a plate. I now live in NJ, but when I'm on Long Island I ALWAYS have to stop for a slice or two.

nothing like it: I moved away, to NH, years ago. Grew up in Huntington and ate Ramo's atleast 3 times a week with my boyz. Miss it everytime I take a bite of pizza from a NH pizza place. Up here, they don't even call them pizzerias and have no idea what you mean when you say let me get a large pie. and the names all seem to end with "House of Pizza", not an italian name followed by PIZZERIA, you never walk in and see them tossing the dough and forming the crust, I thinks it frozen....miss the garlic knots too!!!
