User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI visited the library recently. Let's put it this way, the people who run my towns local library need to look at this one. My regular library needs a serious wake up call!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsIncompetent Managers & Inconsistent Rules: I have been to this branch quite a few times & have found that the rules don't seem to apply to certain people. I have seen patrons who were scolded for being on cell phones while others were permitted to yak away in specifically designated quiet areas.
I also observed a child waiting for parents at the library with library staff well past the library's closing time for that day. A library is not a day care center & the "leaders" should not be enabling parental neglect.
Finally, I went to a book sale for this library and saw them selling home-burned CDs as well as legal & medical texts that were 5-6 years out of date. In case these people aren't aware, they could be getting the library in trouble for distributing copyrighted material or negligently deceiving the public by purporting that information in a medical or legal text is useful to them today. In reality, laws & accepted medical practice change and laws or medical procedures & drugs that were allowed last year are not always allowed today.
