User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest in the area: There are many places to pick up a slice in the nesconset, smithtown area. Some are good, but none as good as SDT. Not only are the slices top notch, but the food in the restaurant is great quality basic Italian at an unbeatable value.
Just try to get in there on a Friday or Saturday night and you'll see I'm not the only one.... Realize that there are so many places in the area trying to do the same thing yet they don't draw anywhere near the crowd, that will tell you something right there. But if you wait, it's worth your time.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest on LI: Simply put, for food, this is the best italian restaurant on LI. Strong statement I know, but why pay $40 when you can get the same thing here for $15, only better. I go every week. I also go to so called fancy restaurants in the city all the time with clients. Sundried ruined those because each time I go I always say Sundried makes this better! The Pelegrinos (owners) are the nicest people you can meet. What more can I say. on a scale of 1-10 its an 11.

Really Great Italian Food: I love the Sundried Tomato Cafe! Everything is delicious from the pizza to my favorite Rigatoni Rustica, or maybe it's the tortolini alfredo, I can't decide. The prices are very reasonable and it's a great family place to eat in or take out!
