User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI had Christmas Eve dinner and was totaly disappointed with the service. They allowed a 9 o clock appointment which I made a reservation and when I got there, the waitress kept rushing us to order because kitchen was closing and they needed to get home to their families. I understand but why make a 9 o clock reservation then. I was rushed the whole dinner and did not enjoy it at all. This was my Christmas eve gift to my dad cause we are Italian and normally have fish and the service alone was horrible. eVEN TO THE POINT THE CLEANING GUY WAS SITTING STARING AT US TO FINISH. HORRIBLE SERVICE. One suggestion don't make appointments at 9 if you plan on rushing your guest out. the dinner was expensive and not all that tasty. Sorry but I give them two thumbs down.

BEEN COMING TO POPEI'S FOR OVER 10YRS & THE FOOD/PORTIONS/PRICE ARE ALL SO GOOD! :) BEST NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsfull to the gills(hahahah): coming here for years, always great. Good menu, great all you can eat nites......holidays we are treated like we are part of the family here.....wanna feel stuffed? go to Popei's....more for the dollar.

I hear ya Italy girl! years ago( maybe 4 or 5?) was the last time i went there..loved the food, was a regular. we went in on mother's day, early, before opening (didn't realize) and they let us come in! The waitress was so annoyed with this that she took it out on us! She threw our plates on the table, was very rude..and made sure we knew she was annoyed! then wrote on the bottom of the receipt "acceptable tip of 17% is appropriate" !!! We gave it to her..I regret that when i think about it now..but she shouldn't have asked for it..we normally give 20% and round up! and for mother's day..she would have gotten more! I will never go there again. We found a better place, never would have looked for it if it wasn't for this waitress! I still have a copy of the receipt to this day and get so angry when i come across it! came to this website for info on another popeis for a friend!
