The counter lady was very sweet. I wanted to get my pants shortened and it was only eight dollars, while in other palces I've been to its been around 12 dollars. The pants were done just the way i asked it to. I will go back there again.

I have to say - the woman who helped me was very very sweet, but Im not sure she understood English very well. I brought in a bridesmaid dress and needed the top tightened and the dress shorter. I went back and nothing had changed. It was like wearing a giant potato sack. I then asked to have the straps sewn in the dress and the little loop inside fixed because it had somehow come loose. I went back a third time and the straps were not sewn into the dress, only the little loop inside the dress that the straps hook into was fixed. I was going to ask her to fix the dress yet again but they were going on a family vacation and the cleaners would be closed up until my sisters wedding. I had to pay $110 for thos alterations. It didnt even seem like the dress was touched. I then had to go to another tailor last second in Patchogue. She only charged me $40 and finished it in one hour!! Im sorry but I wont ever go back again.. Ill drive across the island if it means I only have to go once.

Also, not one other bridesmaid had to pay $110 to have their dresses altered and mine required the least amount of work!!
