    DO NOT use this company. In my job I have ordered from many companies who sell promotional items and this one is by FAR the worst one I ve ever dealt with. First, the product I received was not of good quality at all. It was so cheap it was unbelievable. But the real problem was they didn t work properly. I ordered the solar calculator/business card holder (150) and they came packaged individually in boxes. I opened one box, the calculator wouldn t turn on. I opened another, same problem. I opened 5 up and set them next to the window in my office thinking that maybe they just needed time to charge. After an hour or so, I got 3 to work and 2 still did not. I called Motivators to tell them I wasn t happy with the product and got the complete runaround. After multiple emails and phone calls they finally agreed to let me ship them back. I fully expected a credit for this item. Boy was I wrong. They informed me that their quality control department checked every single calculator and couldn t find even one that didn t work. Really? So basically they are telling me, the customer, that I m lying. They (Tony) insisted that they have to ship the product back to me because it works. Long story short, they shipped it back AND charged me AGAIN for shipping (which I already paid for the first time. I demanded a call from top management and was told the President of the company would call me. That was over 2 weeks ago and I have still not heard from him. I m going to go to whatever lengths it takes to make sure I let the world know how awful this company is. DON T BUY FROM THEM!

    Forget it. The lure of a good price will soon pale when dealing with this debacle of a company. I would give ZERO stars, but Etta and Theresa in Customer Service are actually very nice and TRY to help. However, they cannot overcome the disaster called MOTIVATORS. Yeah, I'm motivated to never do business with you again. 2010 - Long story short: Ordered 150 mugs for a client. SHOCKED by the $85 shipping they hit me with, but what can you do when they hit you with shipping as your order is FINISHED? When I finally saw the mugs a few months later at their event I couldn't believe how WRONG they were. Green instead of black mugs, and a wrap around print was SQUEEZED on to one side of the cup. Couldn't even see what it was supposed to be. So, I called and eventually they refunded the whole order. 2011 - Getting ready to order mugs for the same client, same event. Searching for cups I find a great deal on larger mugs - damn, it's MOTIVATORS. But, they did refund all my money when they made a mistake(s) so I'll give them a second try. Order & art go smoothly, the proof actually looks like the cup, all seems well. Place the order for 150 mugs, about $300 for cups another $40 for set-up charges. Great, let's print it! Then I get a charge and an invoice on the same day for $525! They are charging me $185 for shipping! WHY is SHIPPING SOOOO EXPENSIVE? Well, because as "Tony" explains, they are in over-sized boxes. Expensive to ship. I ask him to put my mugs in smaller boxes and ship more, I think it would still be cheaper. He says the labor would make it a break even... blah, blah... basically, he's too lazy to make this work and is just going to pass the expense on to YOU, his customer because you're already invested. Weeks have gone by and the cups are in production.. what are you going to do? Get raped for shipping I guess. Part of the shipping (they covered the postage $13 after I complained) was for some samples I'm requesting so I can see if they did the cups right, since they were WRONG last year.. , was $13 postage + $8 drop ship fee, and the accounting guy slipped that I was also getting a split charge of some sort. How much? He wouldn't say and passed me on... Lucky for me I have a long time before I need the mugs. I may be able to cancel this robbery through my credit card and order some place else. BONUS: They charged my credit card TWICE! So now I have $1050 on my credit card. When I called, the accounting guy couldn't figure it out and passed me to "Tony" to take care of shipping issues and never told me if he could fix the double charge. "Tony" suddenly became "out of the office".... well, it was 5:02 on the East Coast, I guess his day is done. I will update with a link to a REAL printer when I find one!

    I am sorry to hear about your less than satisfactory experience with Motivators. If a customer has a request which we feel we cannot meet, we make it a point to be open and honest; the staff at Motivators is trained to never promise something that we cannot deliver. After reviewing your case I can assure you that your experience is not the norm. We have a handful of customers that have actually come back to place orders with us because of how well we worked to resolve problems they had encountered either with Motivators or with one of our competitors at some point in the buying cycle. Please understand, however, that we process over 50,000 orders a year; it's inevitable that human error will come into play. When mistakes do arise, we work diligently to come to a fair resolution, and have processes in place to help us understand where something went wrong so we can prevent it from happening in the future. With that being said, I would like to apologize for any frustration or disappointment you may have experienced. Our customers mean the world to us, and we do hope you'll reconsider working with Motivators for any future promotional needs.     It was a horrile experience! I put the order in on Monday, did not get a proof till friday. After 3 calls and no one calling me back I finally got a live person which told me I would have my product in hand in one week. The week and left and no product and I missed my engagement party!! All they could say was sorry, not reinbursement. Do not work with this company....they are very unprofessional. I would select another vendor.
