User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOld Bethpage Village: I absolutely love this place. I first went there with a friend and 6 kids and had a blast. If you love history this the place to go.
Around the holidays they have workshops and crafters, Christmas, and Thanksgiving they have feasts, Halloween they tell stories, make pumpkin pies. Its a wonderful family place. Make sure you stop by the Saloon for old time root beer and a pretzel!

I grew up in Old Bethpage from the mid-50's through the early 70's. I saw the Old Bethpage Village restoration when it was brand new & sometimes on summer days I would pay my admission & walk around the old replica village & only the sound on a jet above & the power constuction saws could break the spell of going back in time. It does my heart good to know that the Old Bethpage Village restoration is still there & is established after this 1/3 of a century has passed us by.
