Dance Elektra Performing Arts

I've been dancing for 9 years and have been dancing at Dance Elektra for 6 of those years. The teachers are great choreographers & I have made so many friends here. I would never switch my dance studio; it i simply the best around.

I was a dancer at Dance Elektra for about 14 years after switching from a different studio when I was young. I haven't been there in almost 9 years or so but I could only imagine it has done nothing but get better. I see there are different teachers there now, but when I was there, there was Theresa, Roanne, Miss Suzanne(RIP), and Lisa. These ladies, and the girls that I danced with for so many years just became my family. I danced 5 days a week, from the time school let out until 10 at night, and couldn't think of anywhere else I would rather be. After turning 18, I was given the opportunity to teach my first tap class. Unfortunetly, halfway through the year I had to move to Florida and just lost touch with everyone. The girls you dance with become more than just fellow dancers, and the instructors are way more than just teachers. The best memories of my life were ones wth all of them whether it be in the studio, or at numerous competitions. I have never had any kind of problem there, and my mother even claims she would do anything to go back to being a dance mom there. I hope to someday reunite with everyone I can from there, for those girls and teachers didn't just change my life, they were my life. Dance Elektra is just the very best. There are simply not enough stars to rate them.

This past year was my senior year as well as my first year at Dance Elektra. I have never felt more welcome in an establishment in my entire life. It really is like one big family at dance elektra, teachers and students included. The teachers are fantastic; professional, talented and they genuinely care about every single one of their dancers. I've never had that before. They put their heart into all of the routines. This is one of the few studios I've seen that compete but keep everything age appropriate. There aren't 7 year olds shaking in little mini costumes. The competitions were fun but the studio makes sure that it isn't the priority of the studio. This is the best studio that I have ever been too and I wish I could be staying longer. Love you all.
